00:01:35 Windy Wile: Omg Kelsey I love your wall! ♥️ 00:02:19 Kelsey Boone: Thank you, Windy!! 00:11:15 Kelsey Lorynn: The 18 personal coaching hours can be same client(s)? We don’t need 18 separate clients do we? 00:11:46 Inbal Sansani (she/her): I totally support this -- and I suggest giving yourself *some* sort of container/timeline for deciding. Even if it's 9 months from now. 00:12:21 Lisa Avnet: can these be with our coaching buddies? 00:16:00 Doris Navarro (she/her): What is the time of the open house? 00:16:31 Gaia: would you be inviting past grads to the open house? 00:16:56 Gaia: thanks 00:23:20 Gaia: how soon within the coaching would one cocreate the vision 00:26:15 Julie Greenberg: I love that during one of our recent calls you really highlighted that not promising quick fixes is an important part of being in integrity as practitioners. I was just working on crafting a post in which I'm framing my work in this way; with the slow and steady being a key component of the process. 00:27:07 Doris Navarro (she/her): love that, Julie! 00:31:02 Julie Greenberg: That really resonates. 00:32:06 Joanna Lindenbaum (she/her): • How were you given or not given permission as a child to vision for yourself? 00:33:38 Carmen Guerrero she/her: I consider my self a dreamer, and never asked myself this question before to realize I did not have permission… yikes! 00:33:42 Windy Wile: I wasn’t, it was being done for me. No room for what I wanted 00:34:15 Joanna Lindenbaum (she/her): What did you learn or not learn from your parents about having a vision? 00:35:33 Annemieke: Dreaming out loud was encouraged. Yet it was also made clear that dreams stay usually in the land of dreams :) 00:35:56 Michelle Bolling: I was shamed and even punished for visioning. I was told I would not survive financially chasing a vision. Instead I was told what I needed to do to survive financially. 00:36:22 Sarah MacKay (she/her): @Joanna - Do you ever do journaling within a session with your clients? If so, is this something that you discuss in early days while setting the container, or do you just ask if they're willing to do that at the time? 00:37:21 Joanna Lindenbaum (she/her): • How has dominant culture allowed or not allowed you to vision for yourself 00:42:51 Julie Greenberg: My dad was a total visionary genius. He was maverick who totally embraced life and lived it fully on his own terms, believing in and pursuing his dreams. He was a poet, an educator, and an entrepreneur. He never let doubters or naysayers hold him back. My mom, on the other hand, squelched her dreams, lived in my father's shadow until they divorced and even beyond. She didn't have a loving, supportive family of origin. She died young. 00:45:12 Anita Puksic (anitapuksic.com): Heather, respect for what you do! 00:45:30 Vessica: Q. How do you help others who have a limited vision expand theirs? I’m such a visionary and find others have so many limiting beliefs that keep them small. Love any insights 00:47:13 Heather Newcomb, VWW: Thank you Anita. I absolutely answered the universe's call to this work and have never felt more fulfilled. 00:47:14 Vessica: Thank you Julie for sharing 00:47:42 Vessica: Heather, thank you for doing your service ❤️ 00:48:00 Julie Greenberg: @Vessica 🙏🏻 00:51:38 Carmen Guerrero she/her: In regards to being modeled… Noticing also a big gap between vision and actions… so they aren’t real…? 00:53:45 Vessica: Thank you Joanna, you have me seeing a lot of options 😇 00:57:32 Vessica: My challenge is to know how long something actually will take, sometimes I feel like I should have my visions achieved immediately 🙃 00:58:02 Nikki Finucan: How do you connect emergent strategy to the vision? 00:59:15 Inbal Sansani (she/her): (I'm so glad I could join for this 1st hour. Thank you Joanna & all.) 00:59:32 Sarah MacKay (she/her): Very much so! 01:00:46 Nicole Villegas: yes, I'm working on this myself. 01:07:23 Nicole Villegas: oughta ;) 01:08:12 Natalie Jobity, The Unveiled Way: I love future self questions--so powerful 01:09:21 Carmen Guerrero she/her: OMG… I don’t have a vision! 🙁 at least not a “clear” one 01:09:36 Natalie Jobity, The Unveiled Way: But sometimes the values conflict and the vision may be distorted 01:09:59 Nicole Villegas: I appreciate that note @natalie 01:10:21 Julie Greenberg: How would you distinguish between our vision and our why? 01:10:40 Carmen Guerrero she/her: I love that question Julie 01:11:05 Natalie Jobity, The Unveiled Way: @Julie I think the vision can be about anything whereas Why is about purpose? 01:11:06 Julie Greenberg: @Carmen, it was your share above that sparked my question 🙂 01:12:46 Julie Greenberg: @Natalie, I almost think... for myself anyway, that my vision is going to be informed by my why... Why do I want what I am envisioning for myself? What does it represent for me? How will my life look and feel and be different when I am living in that vision? 01:12:47 Gaia: yess! me too Vessica, celebrating you as a Visionary! 01:14:06 Natalie Jobity, The Unveiled Way: @Julie that makes sense. I think vision and why can connect like you dscribe. But they can be different too. There is the BIG vision and then intermediary visions too 01:14:42 Julie Greenberg: @Natalie. I absolutely agree. 01:15:21 Gaia: How does manifesting come into play 01:15:40 Anita Puksic (anitapuksic.com): Thank you Vessica and Joanna for this conversation. 01:16:19 Natalie Jobity, The Unveiled Way: Hold space for disruption 😏 01:16:39 Vessica: Thank you loves 💛💛💛💫 01:17:18 Nicole Villegas: so powerful 01:17:23 Julie Greenberg: I feel like that is what comes up a lot for me when I work with clients. “who says you have to X?” “Where do you think your belief that what you are trying to do or achieve needs to look like X originated?” 01:20:58 Natalie Jobity, The Unveiled Way: I love that framing of a stretch in that way! 01:22:25 Heather Newcomb, VWW: At my organization we call it "challenge by choice" but along the same lines of pushing beyond your comfort zone 01:22:34 Sarah MacKay (she/her): I could more in networking with therapists and educational consultants. I have been sticking largely in my comfort zone--those I already know. 01:22:40 Sarah MacKay (she/her): stretch more 01:23:53 Julie Greenberg: I feel like committing to become a Certified Sacred Depths practitioner and fulfilling all of the requirements feels like a stretch that has me feeling excited. 01:28:53 Carmen Guerrero she/her: I need to sign out! Thank you Joanna and everyone!!! 01:29:29 Sarah MacKay (she/her): @Joanna- just got lovely shivery shivers at your second HW assignment to look at our client list to see if we know what their vision is!! 01:29:52 Doris Navarro (she/her): Me too, Sarah! 01:29:53 Vessica Lightheart: can i stay on for a bit? 01:29:57 Annemieke: Thanks Joanna, very insightful session! I have to go now 01:30:13 Doris Navarro (she/her): Thank you Joanna!
